(Reuters) - Still smarting from losing the Ryder Cup in extraordinary circumstances, Tiger Woods has his sights on more quick payback against world number one Rory McIlroy in China on October 29. The world's top two players will go head to head in an 18-hole medal match at Jinsha Lake in Zhengzhou, with Woods clearly fired up by his rivalry with the Northern Irishman. "We've all seen how talented Rory is," said 14-times major winner Woods, who routed McIlroy by six strokes in the World Golf Final in Turkey the week after the Ryder Cup. ...

HONG KONG (Reuters) - World number one Rory McIlroy is set to defend his Hong Kong Open title next month, organizers said on Friday. Fresh from their sensational comeback victory over the Americans in Medinah last month, fellow Ryder Cup players Paul Lawrie and Miguel Angel Jimenez will also take part, as will Europe's captain Jose Maria Olazabal. BELEK, Turkey (Reuters) - Justin Rose beat 14-times major champion Tiger Woods in the semi-finals on Thursday to set up a title showdown with fellow Englishman Lee Westwood at the World Golf Final exhibition event. Rose (69) carded two birdies and an eagle in the last six holes to defeat world number two Woods, who eliminated top-ranked Rory McIlroy earlier in the day, by one shot. Westwood blitzed his way past 2011 U.S. Masters champion Charl Schwartzel by six strokes, the world number four firing two eagles and eight birdies in a course record, 10-under 61. ...
