Blackhawks G Cristobal Huet had a 7-0 lead in the third period before Dan Boyle broke up the shutout with less than four minutes to go in the game. The News Ryan Franklin's struggles continue. He blew his fifth save of the season with a run in the ninth inning of Saturday's 2-1 win over the Cubs. Gregg blows three-run lead, gets win

Cubs closer Kevin Gregg had an 8-5 lead in the ninth inning of Saturday's game against the Marlins and retired the first two batters before Ronny Paulino connected on a 2-2 pitch for his first career pinch-hit homer. Chris Coghlan and Marlins newcomer Nick Johnson singled, and Emilio Bonifacio's triple tied the score at 8, giving Gregg the blown save. The 42-year-old knuckleballer pitched six scoreless innings to beat the Braves 1-0 Saturday, a worthy performance for the game that tied him with Clemens for the most career starts by a Red Sox pitcher. "Just being mentioned with the names I'm being mentioned with is pretty cool," said Wakefield, who made his 382nd start for Boston. "I'm thankful I've been here as long as I have." Dallas' Matt Climie made 22 saves in his NHL debut on Saturday against the Blues, replacing top goalie Marty Turco, out with a lower-body injury. Climie, getting the call ahead of regular backup Tobias Stephan, was an emergency callup from Idaho of the ECHL, where he was 27-12-1 with a league-best 2.30 goals-against average.
