Rockets forward Royce White‘s path to the NBA may have hit another speed bump Thursday, after he announced via his twitter account that he is leaving the Rio Grande Valley D-League team. According to White, he is returning to Houston per a team doctor’s orders, but a team spokesman told the Houston Chronicle that the team was not a part of the decision, and that White is still on the Valley Vipers’ roster. At this point, it is not clear what role the team had in this decision, or what it means for White moving forward.
