Billups leaves with strained groin

Clippers guard Chauncey Billups was forced to leave Tuesday’s contest against the Kings with a strained right groin. Billups sustained the injury late in the second quarter and was quickly ruled out for the remainder of the contest. He finished with two points and one rebounds prior to leaving the game.

Wayns re-signs with Clippers

The Clippers gave a second 10-day contract to guard Maalik Wayns on Tuesday. He has been active for three games for the Clippers and has scored a total of two points.

'Melo takes a seat again

Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony was ruled out of Sunday’s contest against the Clippers after having fluid drained from his right knee in New York earlier in the week. Head coach Mike Woodson told reporters he is unsure if Anthony will play Monday at Utah.

Knicks center Tyson Chandler (knee) was unable to practice with the team Saturday and is being considered doubtful for Sunday’s contest against the Clippers, reports the New York Post. Chandler is nursing a left knee contusion that he got after colliding with Corey Brewer during New York’s blowout loss to the Nuggets last Wednesday.

Bledsoe ruled out vs. Knicks

Clippers guard Eric Bledsoe was ruled out for Sunday’s contest against the Clippers as he continues to nurse a left calf injury, reports the Los Angeles Times. Bledsoe, who has already missed two consecutive games with his injury, remains listed as day to day.
