Williams to return Wednesday

The Deseret News reports that Jazz guard Mo Williams is expected to play Wednesday night at Cleveland. Williams has been sidelined since Dec. 22 because of surgery on his thumb.

Williams still feeling discomfort

Jazz guard Mo Williams is still feeling some discomfort in his surgically repaired right thumb and there is still no timetable for his return, reports the Salt Lake Tribune. Williams, who has been sidelined since Dec. 22, has been able to partake in non-contact drills in practice over the past week.

Williams impressive for Minnesota

Minnesota power forward Derrick Williams had an excellent performance on Sunday afternoon despite the Wolves losing at home to Golden State by one point. Williams led the way for Minnesota with 23 points on 9 of 15 shooting. He doubled up with 12 rebounds and added a block in the contest.
