Clippers forward Caron Butler had the hot hand for L.A. on a night they were destroyed by the Hornets. Butler was the lone bright spot in the loss Monday as the veteran hit nine 3-pointers to drop 33 points on New Orleans. Butler went 12 of 24 from the field and hit nine of his 15 3-point attempts to post a season-high 33 points over 34 minutes. He added six rebounds and two assists in the performance.
