Stenson seeking tourney record at Nedbank Golf Challenge

Henrik Stenson covered the back nine at the Gary Player Country Club in 7- under par to take an eight-stroke lead in the third round of the Nedbank Golf Challenge on Saturday, according to Reuters. The Swede had seven birdies, including five on the back nine, to sign off a 7-under-par 65. His 54-hole total of 17-under-par 199 put him well within striking distance of the tournament record of 25-under-par 263 set by Ernie Els in 1999.
