Curry puts exclamation point on historic season

Entering his fourth season, it was common knowledge that Stephen Curry is one of the best shooters in the league. After Wednesday, he has to be talked about as one of the best shooters in the history of the NBA, as he set a new league record for 3-pointers made in a season. Curry entered his team’s final game against the Blazers needing one three-pointer to tie the all-time mark, set by Ray Allen in 2005-06, and he dropped in four on 11 attempts to establish a new mark, at 272 made. He played 32 minutes in the game overall, finishing with 15 points on 5 of 16 shooting, with five assists and three steals, in a 99-88 win.
