DL - Josh Hamilton
Cutting a player from your roster is never an easy thing to do- especially when one has become attached to the players involved. Looking over your roster there are no easy players to cut. However, what becomes blatantly obvious is the fact that you are loaded at 1B and the outfield. Including the DH spot, you have Francoeur, Ordonez, Hunter, D. Lee, Swisher, Youkilis, Markakis, and now Hamilton. That mean every week you have 3 of these guys sitting. In a situation like this, the GNUru would recommend trying to deal some of your surplus bats for an upgrade at another position. Unfortunately, it's often difficult to make deals and it is further compounded by the fact that you only have a few days before you must activate Josh Hamilton. Given your situation, the GNUru would recommend releasing Mr. Hamilton himself. While the GNUru is very high on Hammy, you would be foolish to let go of anyone in your starting lineup and both Youkilis and Markakis have been very productive thus far. Josh Hamilton has looked good at times but is anything but a sure thing. The league still hasn’t had a chance to catch up with Hamilton and adjust. Your other candidate for release is Stephen Drew. Although he hasn’t performed up to his potential, his promise to too much to let go in a keeper league. Thanks for the question!

Well I guess it depends on how many players this guy can keep but I would drop S. Drew. He doesn't look like he's going to be keeper caliber anytime soon.
