With the 2007 fantasy season just about 1/3 of the way complete, we can begin to identify those players who have disappointed and those that have exceed expectations. Those that have exceed expectations have been honored by being named to the distinguished All-GNUru Fantasy Team. The following list of players are not necessarily the best at their position but they are considered value picks as their production has vastly exceed their preseason expectations. Congrats to the 2007 Offensive All-GNUru Team.

Bengie Molina has turned into a fantastic fantasy option at catcher in both head-to-head and roto leagues. He has out performed higher rated catchers such as Brian McCann, Michael Barrett, Paul Lo Duca, Ramon Hernandez, and the injured Joe Mauer. Those that got Bengie late have been rewarded
Honorable Mention: Jorge Posada

After a mediocre rookie season, Kevin Youkilis is coming into his own. The many fantasy owners who took a late round flier on him have to be happy with his performance thus far.
Honorable Mention: Prince Fielder

Fantasy owners have been waiting for quite some time for B.J. to get his defensive act together and get regular big league playing time. That time has finally arrive and those fantasy owners who didn’t give up on him are being heavily rewarded!
Honorable Mention: Dan Uggla

J.J. Hardy has burst onto the scene and has become an elite fantasy shortstop. While his production is starting to decline slightly, his value relative to draft position is as high as anyone’s.

An often forgotten man on draft day, Mike Lowell has turned into a steal at a typically deep position. Lowell went undrafted in many leagues and has produced more than early round picks David Wright, Aramis Ramirez, Garrett Atkins.

All 3 of the above outfielders were extremely undervalued heading into the 2007 season. Magglio just hasn’t been able to regain the form he once had with the White Sox, Torri Hunter was never much of an impact fantasy player, and Curtis Granderson had yet to live up to his potential. These 3 have out-slugged highly rated outfielders like Carlos Beltran, Carl Crawford, Carlos Lee, Adam Dunn, Jason Bay, and Ichiro Suzuki!
Honorable Mentions: Eric Byrnes, Aaron Rowarnd, and Josh Willingham
