Starting for just the second time in the last four games for Toronto was outfielder Adam Lind on Tuesday night against the Padres in San Diego. Lind sat out on Monday night and the Jays have given him some extra time off recently because he's been struggling badly from the plate. Batting .210 on the season, Lind entered Tuesday's start 4 for 19 (.211) over his last six games.
