Claude Giroux's goal at the end of the first period gave the Flyers a 3-1 lead which they would never relinquish in an eventual 5-3 win over the Blackhawks that evened the Stanley Cup Finals at two games apiece.
Our View
Giroux's goal was his tenth of the playoffs and the Flyers got a complete team effort in this one. Mike Richards, Mat Carle, Ville Leino and Jeff Carter all scored for Philly who won handily despite going just 1-for-7 on the power play. Michael Leighton made 31 saves and now has his team facing a clean slate for the final three games of the series.
