St. Louis head coach Davis Payne admitted Jaroslav Halak could have been sharper during the preseason and that this week is all about getting him ready for Saturday night's season opener against Nashville, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. "If I start breaking down a goaltender from a technical aspect, there's obviously mistakes that are going to get made... we've got guys that do that. But we feel that (Halak) could be sharper, and that's what this week is going to be for," said Payne.
