The News The final round has often been a point of misery for Justin Rose, but today he was as steady as could be, carding a score of 66 (-6) to overtake the lead and win at the Memorial Tournament, according to the Associated Press. Rose finished at 18 strokes under par (270) for the tourney to take a check for $1.08 million and a move back inside the top 30 in the world. Our View Rickie Fowler held the lead over the last two days but fell off the pace on Sunday with a round of 73, finishing three strokes back of Rose (lone possession of second place). Ricky Barnes had recorded an astounding 62 on Saturday to get in the hunt but his 73 on Sunday pushed him into a tie for third with Bo Van Pelt. Ryan Moore, Phil Mickelson (failing in his third consecutive attempt to overtake Tiger Woods for the #1 spot in the world), and Tim Petrovic tied for fifth, all nine strokes off the lead.
