The Buccaneers have released Michael Clayton, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Our View
It's not a good sign for his NFL future if he can't secure a spot in the Buccaneers' weak receiving corps. Clayton had a fine rookie season with Tampa Bay but was never able to replicate that success.
