T.J. Houshmandzadeh's time in Seattle has come to an end, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The team has decided to trade or release him ahead of Saturday's cut-down day. Former Lion Mike Williams will take his place in the starting lineup.

There had been rumblings that the Seahawks were ready to part ways with their veteran receiver, but it was never considered very likely because of his $7 million 2010 salary. After looking highly unexplosive last season, he might have fewer suitors than one would imagine. Stay tuned.
