The Ravens, as expected, have placed safety Ed Reed on the PUP list, reports the Baltimore Sun. This isn't much of a surprise since Reed is recovering from offseason hip surgery, and the move was expected. The question now becomes if Reed will open the regular season on the PUP list, which means he would be out for the first six games of the season.
