Moss peeved at Pats

Randy Moss is displeased that the Patriots have yet to extend his contract, which expires at the end of the 2010 season, according to ESPN. "When you have done so much and put so much work in, it kind of feels like I am not wanted," he said on Monday. "I am taking that in stride and playing my final year out and whatever the future holds is what it holds, but it is kind of a bad feeling -- feeling not wanted. It is not like my production has gone down."
Our View
One of these days the Patriots insistence on not wrapping up contract extensions early with its veteran players is going to come back to bite them. This might be that time, as Moss has showed no signs of slowing down, and will go to the highest bidder if he's allowed to hit the open market next summer.
