Eagles looking at Saints DB coach for DC opening

According to Jay Glazer, the Eagles have received permission to interview Saints defensive backs coach Dennis Allen for their defensive coordinator opening.
Our View
Jim Mora Jr. took himself out of the running today, leaving the Eagles with fewer options to replace to the fired Sean McDermott. Still, Allen did a wonderful job with second-year safety Malcolm Jenkins, and although he'd be a somewhat shocking hire, he's a young, exciting coach who would bring some enthusiasm to the defense.
