Anthony Dixon ran 20 times for 51 yards and a touchdown in San Francisco's preseason tilt with the Vikings.
Our View
Don't be fooled by Dixon's awful 2.6 yards per carry. He looked strong behind San Fran's first-team line and could be in line for some short-yardage duty this season, even with Brian Westbrook and Frank Gore in the same backfield. Of course, neither of the two backs ahead of him played Sunday night.
