Coach Monty Williams said the decision to sit him was "matchup driven." Williams took the blame for Stojakovic's lack of playing time. “It’s a tough spot for Peja,” Williams said. “It’s the first time he’s been inactive in his career, and I take a lot of the blame — actually all of it — because I probably didn’t do a great job of communicating to him when he was going to play.”
