Ngombo lands in Minnesota

The Timberwolves were able to acquire the draft rights to forward Targuy Ngombo from Dallas on Thursday after he was selected in the second round at No. 57 overall. Ngombo, from Congo, is 6-foot-6 and averaged 19.6 points and 6.6 rebounds for Qatar during the 2010 Asian Games, including 24 points and nine rebounds vs. China.
