Dwight Howard went off on Thursday night, torching the Thunder for 39 points and 18 rebounds. He shot 11-of-19 from the field and an improbable 17-of-20 from the line and added two blocks in a dominant performance, but the Magic lost, 125-124.
Our View
While the monstrous double-double is more than enough to make Howard's owners happy, the 17-of-20 shooting night seems nearly too good to be true from a 57 percent shooter. Consider it an anomaly, but expect the big man to continue to keep racking up points, rebounds and blocks.
