Garnett's 25 not enough

Kevin Garnett led the Celtics with 25 points, but Boston muffed their first home game in the series and fell 91-84 to the Lakers. They now trail 2-1 in the NBA Finals.
Our View
Garnett was 11-of-16 from the field, but wasn't much of a presence around the rim. He had just six boards and one block in the game. Still, he was more of a factor than Paul Pierce (5-of-12 for 15 points) and Rajon Rondo (11 points, three boards and eight dimes). No one was as bad as Ray Allen though. The usually reliable Allen was 0-of-13 from the field, missed all eight three-point attempts and finished with just two points, four rebounds and two assists. He'll need to wake up if the Celtics want to even this series.
