Faried headed to Nuggets

The Nuggets drafted Morehead State forward Kenneth Faried with the 22nd pick of Thursday's NBA Draft. He is 6-foot-7, 225 pounds and was the college game's dominant rebounder last season. He averaged 14.5 boards as a senior, after two straight seasons when he averaged 13 per game. "George Karl, he told me, 'I love guys who bring energy and hustle to the table," Faried said of his discussion with the Nuggets coach, according to the Denver Post. "If you rebound, trust me, you're going to find your way on the floor. I think I can make an immediate impact." Asked why he'll be a great rebounder at this level, Faried said: "Because I'm not scared. I have a never-quit attitude and I'm going to keep going until I come up with the rebound."
