Victor Martinez is getting closer to returning to the Detroit Tigers lineup. The veteran catcher-designated hitter, on the disabled list with a strained right groin, is scheduled to start a rehab assignment Monday with Triple-A Toledo. The switch-hitter, signed as a free agent in November to a four-year, $50 million contract, has been out since April 19.
