The Astros selected high school pitcher Michael Foltynewicz with the 19th pick in the 2010 MLB draft on Monday evening.
Our View
With a fastball that tops out at 96, you could say Foltynewicz is a power pitcher. Not only does his fastball light up the radar gun, however, it also has very good movement. Coupled with an above average changeup, it could make for a lot of groundballs and strikeouts at the professional level.
