Scherzer helps Tigers to even series

Tigers SP Max Scherzer pitched no-hit ball for 5 1/3 innings, and he held the Yankees scoreless for six innings in a 5-3 victory in Game 2 of the American League Division Series. Yankees 2B Robinson Cano ended Scherzer's no-hit bit with a bloop single in the sixth inning. Scherzer would allow just one other hit, though he walked four batters on the afternoon. He also struck out five batters in earning the win. The series is now tied at one game apiece.
