Roy Oswalt would be willing to waive his no-trade clause for the Phillies, according to MLB.com.

Oswalt also won't necessarily demand that his $16 million club option for 2012 be picked up. It sounds like the Phillies path toward acquiring Oswalt might not be as hard as some thought, so we'll have to wait and see what happens over the final few days before the trade deadline.
