Texas C/1B Mike Napoli is fine after being involved in a home-plate collision in Tuesday's ALDS game against Tampa Bay. According to The Dallas Morning News, Napoli was checked twice for signs of a concussion and was able to play the entire game. He showed no post-collision difficulty either. "I'm going to go in hard, too, if I have a chance and the game is on line like this one," said Napoli, who went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts after the collision. "That's the right way to play the game. There are things you need to do in this game. I don't have any problems with what he did." He also stole his first career postseason base in the win. "Nap's a hard-nosed player, and I'm the same way," Rays INF Sean Rodriguez said. "He comes into second hard, and I never get upset. I wish more guys would play that way. That's what this game is built on: guys getting after it. I would hope he'd call me out if I didn't go in hard."
