Astros SP Brett Myers pitched six innings on Friday night, allowing three runs off seven hist against the Diamondbacks. The right-hander gave up a RBI double to Adam LaRoche in the first before settling down over the next few innings. Then in the fifth, Myers gave up a leadoff triple and walked a batter with one out before surrendering back-to-back RBI singles. He left in line ofr the loss but earned the no-decision as his teammates battled back. "I couldn't get my curveball over for the most part today," said Myers. "I had to battle. It is tough when you go out there without any of your best stuff." Myers has lasted at least six innings in all his starts this season, the longest streak in team history and longest in the majors since Arizona's Curt Schilling reached the seventh in 35 straight starts in 2002. He struck out four and walked three while raising his ERA to 3.02.
