Dodgers SP Ted Lilly got off to a solid start in his outing against the Astros on Friday night, but he couldn't hold on late. He allowed six runs (five earned) over 5 1/3 innings of work in the 7-3 loss. After giving up just one run over his first five frames, the left-hander got roughed up in the sixth. He surrendered a leadoff double and allowed three runs to cross the plate before being pulled for Josh Lindblom. The bullpen allowed two inherited runners to score, charging Lilly with his final damage. Lilly also struck out four and walked two while earning his sixth loss of the year.
