From The Sports Xchange notes: The Reds have to sort out a crowded rotation. Homer Bailey returned from the DL on Sunday and threw six innings of four-hit shutout baseball against the Marlins. It was Bailey's first start since May 23. The Reds leave on a nine-game western road trip Monday, three games in Phoenix against the D-Backs, followed by three in L.A. against the Dodgers, and then three in San Francisco. Bailey's good start came the day after Mike Leake went six innings and allowed three runs on six hits. Left-hander Travis Wood pitched two scoreless innings of relief Saturday for Triple-A Louisville. He is eligible to return to the big leagues April 19. They also have right-hander Aaron Harang on his way back, after making a rehab start Sunday. The Reds will have to pick two from Bailey, Leake, Wood and perhaps Harang to go along with rotation mainstays Johnny Cueto, Bronson Arroyo and Edinson Volquez.
