From The Sports Xchange notes: RHP Jim Johnson, who has been out since late May with a strained right elbow, was hit hard Monday in his first rehab appearance. Pitching for the Orioles' affiliate in the rookie-level Gulf Coast League, Johnson allowed three runs on five hits in one inning. According to the Baltimore Sun, he is expected to make several more appearances for the same team.
