Joba Chamberlain has been stripped of his eighth-inning setup role, according to the New York Post.
Our View
This should not come as a surprise given his 5.95 ERA and 1.61 WHIP this season. He'll be used in middle relief, with the Yankees likely going setup-by-committee unless they are able to land a new arm, possibly Scott Downs, before the trade deadline.
