Rays DH Johnny Damon told the St. Petersburg Times that he wants to re-sign with the team. "I don't even feel like packing anything up," Damon said. "I felt like this was the perfect fit. … I would love to be back." His current one-year deal will expire at the end of the postseason, and then he will become a free agent. Damon hit .261 with 16 home runs, 73 RBI and 19 stolen bases with Tampa Bay this season.
