Orioles SP Zach Britton received just enough run support in his outing against the Tigers on Thursday. He allowed five runs on six hits over five innings of work in the 6-5 win. The left-hander made it through his first three frames unscathed before giving up a run in the fourth. He would surrender a four-spot in the fifth, including a three-run homer by Delmon Young, and was done after throwing 78 pitches, 44 for strikes. Britton also struck out one and walked four while picking up his second straight win.
