Mets SP Johan Santana (10-9) allowed four earned runs on eight hits through seven innings on Saturday against the Astros, but his teammates could manage just one run to support him. This was his third straight loss -- just the fourth time in his career that has happened -- and hasn't dropped four straight since 2004 with Minnesota. Santana struck out four and walked one. Houston SP Brett Myers pitched another gem as he didn't allow a batter past second base. The Mets would lose the game, 4-1.
