National anthem flubs can either be career defining calamities — messing up the Super Bowl pregame tune is forever known as "pulling a Christina Aguilera" — or inspiring moments of humanity, like when that crowd in Norfolk helped 8-year-old Elizabeth Hughes finish the "Star Spangled Banner."

Singer and Ottawa native Tara Holloway was booked to sing then U.S. and Canadian anthems before the Ottawa Senators' home game against the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday night, an honor she called "neat" on Twitter.

It nearly became a horror show during the French-language portion of "O Canada." Luckily, the Ottawa Senators fans made the best save of the game before it started.

Kudos to the crowd, and kudos to Holloway for a humble and endearing reaction. Check out more about Holloway on her official website.
