The Boston Bruins have signed defenseman Johnny Boychuk to a three-year contract extension worth $10.1 million. General manager Peter Chiarelli confirmed the deal before Tuesday night's game against the New York Rangers. Boychuk, 28, has three goals and seven assists in 52 games this season and is second among Bruins defensemen with a plus-23 rating.
