Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker posted team highs in catches (eight) and yards (131) during New England’s 41-28 victory over Houston in an AFC Divisional Playoff game Sunday. Welker finished with at least eight receptions for eighth time this season as he set the franchise record for most postseason catches with 59 (in eight games). Troy Brown held the previous record with 58 receptions (20 games). Welker finished with 13 targets from quarterback Tom Brady for a sterling average of 16.4 yards per reception.
