Atlanta starter Brandon Beachy (elbow) was able to throw off flat ground for the first time on Wednesday at camp, reports ESPN. Beachy is hoping to get on a mound by the end of spring training. He’s making his return from Tommy John surgery and expects to be activated sometime in late June.
