Ondrej Pavelec struggled for the third straight start on Saturday as the Thrashers were pounded by the Islanders 6-3. Pavelec stopped only 31 of the 36 shots he faced before being pulled in favor on Johan Hedberg.



Our View

Pavelec has now allowed 13 goals in his last three starts, and he looks close to losing his job to Hedberg. Fantasy owners need to stay away from him unless he really turns things around in his next few starts. Expect Hedberg to get his chance at the job going forward as well.
