The Sports Xchange reports Maple Leafs D Tomas Kaberle, still stuck on 22 points, slipped out of first place among NHL defensemen in points when the Capitals Mike Green had an assist to go to 23 on Saturday. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the only others in the expansion era to lead the league on a non-playoff team were Paul Coffey with the 1988-89 Penguins, Brian Leetch with the 2000-01 Rangers and Sergei Gonchar with the 2001-02 Capitals.
