Alexander Ovechkin now says he was joking when he told a Yahoo! Sports reporter over the weekend that his unspecified upper-body injury could keep him out for over a month, according to the Associated Press.

Funny? Regardless, this is a good time to have been duped, as 4-to-5 weeks without Ovechkin could have spelled doom for many fantasy owners. He is out for sure this Wednesday, but beyond that, he could return at any time. Stay tuned.
