Alexandre Giroux has been sent back to the AHL by the Capitals, according to the Twitter page of beat writer Tarik El-Bashir. Giroux has scored one goal in his three games with the Caps this season.
Our View
Giroux joined the team last week, and he did managed to net a goal in his short stint. He will likely find his way back to Washington a few times this season, but he isn't a threat for fantasy production.
