JaMarcus Russell was forced into the Raiders' Week 15 upset of the Broncos after starter Charlie Frye went down with injury, according to the Associated Press.
Our View
He was a pedestrian 5-of-11 for 47 yards. However, he managed to throw zero interceptions, and actually tossed the game-winning touchdown, a 10-yard strike to Chaz Schilens, with just 35 seconds remaining. He will not start next week, but if today ended up being his last game action of 2009, it was a very positive ending.
