JaMarcus Russell deflected blame on Sunday for the Raiders' humiliating 38-0 loss to the Jets, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Our View

"I don't think it's me personally, I really don't," he said. Uhh, ok JaMarcus. Those words came from a player that completed just 6-of-11 passes for 61 yards and two interceptions before getting benched. It's one thing to not blame the whole loss on yourself, but it's another to accept no responsibility when everyone else in the locker room was. Hoping for Russell's eventual improvement is growing more far-fetched by the day.
