Morris unlikely to start

Lions head coach Jim Schwartz said he was "optimistic" that RB Kevin Smith would play in Sunday's game at Seattle after he suffered a shoulder injury last week vs. the Rams, according to the Detroit News. Smith sat out practice on Wednesday but did work on Thursday and Friday. He's expected to start and lose a handful of carries to backup Maurice Morris.
