Jacobs charged up for San Diego

Giants RB Brandon Jacobs has turned his game around over the last couple of weeks and has a lot of momentum heading into Week 9 vs. the Chargers. He's seen at least 20 carries in three of his last five games and 40 carries for 195 yards (nearly 5.0 yards per carry) and a touchdown in his last three contests. The Chargers run defense has improved in recent weeks thanks to games against the Broncos, Chiefs and Raiders (though Oakland punched it in on the ground against them last week).
